My Story
I was invited to my first Scentsy party in May of 2020 and decided to host my own party. I just really wanted to see what it was all about, and I definitely was NOT going to become a CONSULTANT!! The party was a success, as most Scentsy parties are, and I decided to use my Host Rewards to get that consultant kit because I figured that was the biggest bang for my buck, right?! I definitely wasn't going to SELL Scentsy. Little did I know, Scentsy had other ideas. 😉
Months went by, I sold things here and there and even did a vendor event with my friend and that was even a success. But I still wasn't going to be a Scentsy Consultant.
Still months went by, my husband, Todd, and I got married at our home, during the pandemic. We have a little hobby farm with 3 dogs, 1 cat, 3 horses, 9 goats, 14 Highland cows, chickens, ducks, and even 7 peacocks! Then, one day, a friend from Washington state contacted me because she had a SCENTSY EMERGENCY! It seemed that during a remodel in her home, her favorite Scentsy warmer had fallen and broken and wondered what she could do. With the help of other consultants, I suggested a few different warmers to her. She fell in love with her warmers, and I fell in love with Scentsy!!
Something ignited in me that day and I have never looked back. I knew that I had to help her, and I knew that I could help others get these amazing fragrances in their lives. I love sharing the scents with people and seeing their reactions when they get their new warmers and the look on their faces when they get to smell that perfect scent that they love. There is always something to learn with Scentsy and there is always something coming out, so there is always something to look forward to. And, you don't have to wait, because new items are being released constantly!
Back in 2020, I didn't even think that I would be where I am today. My team is growing, and we are all very successful consultants. I grow along with Scentsy and learn along with the business. I love doing what I do and hope to someday do this full time. That is the goal, and if you remember the beginning of this story, I wasn't even going to "sell Scentsy!" And I'm still not. Because I love it and believe in it so much, it just comes naturally now.
